Us Too Detroit proves there is more than enough business for all. Over the last few years, Detroit has seen a boom in new and established business setting up ship in the city. Through all of the recent changes, local businesses felt left out and left behind. Carol Watson decided to do something about that feeling and is working hard to change that narrative.

Watson started Us Too Detroit in an effort to support black owned businesses in Detroit. She seeks to identify, support and promote small businesses, not to exclude other businesses but highlight businesses that may not be as well-known or publicized. Us Too Detroit stands on the principle that “there is more than enough for all”, and want people to know that they can support the small business community in addition to supporting bigger businesses in Detroit.

Us Too Detroit frequently does crawls of local businesses, an event that goes from business to business in one particular community. Their last crawl featured businesses along Grand River:
