Steps in the Hiring Process1. Applicant completes and files an employment application.
2. Application is reviewed for job specifications.
3. Applicant participates in one or more of these evaluation steps:
a. Takes a written test
b. Demonstrates skills and abilities
c. Completes an oral appraisal
d. Participates in an Interview
4. Upon successful evaluation, the Applicant is placed on an eligibility list, in score order.
5. A conditional job offer is extended.
6. A physical evaluation is conducted.
7. Candidate is Certified (Hired) by the Operating Department.
